Arms like Anj, a face like Owais, loyal like Shmoyel

Has Desi Rascals created a recipe for the perfect man? Not quite, but they have certainly chosen cast members who have had men and women drooling all over them.

 Desi Rascals, the new reality TV show similar to TOWIE, came to our TV screens in January  this year and we all got hooked on the story lines and the cast members.

The most intriguing pair were Moses Baig and Jo Shah, now known as Mojo, who’s love story  blossomed before our eyes and is still going strong.

Owais Khan and his string of bad luck brought a few laughs; despite his dapper looks and charm, Owais developed a stutter at a young age and this was portrayed on television. He was also ‘pied’ by a few ladies on the show for being too arrogant and self-centered. It began with Yasmin Karimi, continued with Rita Siddiqui and ended with his not so blossoming relationship with Scottish girl Feryal Javid Khan.

 Anj Baig, owner of PMG gym and Anjees Dessert Lounge, certainly did not  go unnoticed to the audience, but unlucky for everyone Anj made it clear  that he was in a relationship from the beginning and his other half will not  be appearing on the show. However Anj was not hesitant on playing  cupid and even set up Owais and Feryal, unaware how that would end.

I can’t forget to mention our very own Zayn Malik lookalike Shmoyel  Siddiqui, a pop up art gallery owner. Shmoyel was not as loud as the other boys and only went on a few dates with Yasmin before calling it a day. He kept a little reserved on his love life and despite interest from Faryal, causing an extremely awkward scene but great entertainment, we did not see much of Shmoyel’s love life. However it seems that him and Natalie Shah, sister of Jo, are getting rather close so let’s wait and see if that develops.

 With Desi Rascals 2 back on our screens this summer lets hope we see the  continued relationship of Mojo, Owais finally finding his Mrs. right,  Shmoyel and Natalie becoming a pair and Anj’s arms getting even bigger.

 

Tash on tours goes international, Made in Chelsea hits New York and the Americans take over the big brother house!

With the madness and fast pace of life I haven’t had the opportunity to blog about some of my favourite shows that I’ve been watching recently, so I thought I’d take the time out and write a quick post of some of the latest reality shows that have me hooked.

The Geordies were back in town to go wild, party and show everyone how it’s done in the Toon. Garry brought along his best pal Aaron and soon into the show Marnie’s best friend Kyle also joined the crew. From the original gang the remaining ones are now Garry, James, Vicky, Charlotte, Holly and Scott.

Aaron and Kyle managed to settle in quite well with the others once the relationship dynamics had been established. The girls tried to keep Kyle to themselves but the boys fast took him under their wing and showed him how to pull a few birds. He has taken a liking to Holly and is showing more of an interest in her than the club girls, but I very much doubt that a relationship will form at the end of show.

This time round Anna, the boss, realised these lot are not good at anything apart from Tashing on so she made this their main job. To go out, entertain groups and get everyone to ‘neck’ on with one another. The ‘Tash on Tours’ theme was taken to Iceland where friction in the group did occur, but it was all forgotten once they got tashing on with everyone.

 

The MIC gang have flown out to New York for the summer and we’ve seen quite a few new faces on the show, including Bille, who has both Spencer and Stevie fighting to win her over, Alik who has shown a keen interest in Louise, and Jules who has outdone Spencer in the dating game.  

Jules claims he is in a polyamorous relationship, which basically means he can have a girlfriend and sleep around with other girls too, with the approval of his girlfriend. Up until recently Jules and Rosie were getting to know each other, until she found out about his lifestyle choice and kicked him to the kerb.

Apart from the newbie’s some of the Chelsea drama did follow the crew to New York as Binky turned up without Alex. He then followed her to New York but she told him she wanted nothing to do with him. When the news came out that he had hooked up with Jamie’s ex Tara nobody had anything nice to say to or about him, so he grabbed his passport and quickly flew back to England.

MIC NY is not shaping out to be what I had quite expected it to be. They have lived up to the glamorous lifestyle however the drama just doesn’t seem to be as interesting as it was back in Knightsbridge, but perhaps it will get better.

Big Brother 2014 was a fiery season with more fights and arguments than we have ever witnessed before. The theme was all about Big Brothers power trip, in which each week a housemate or housemates were given the power to make powerful decisions in the house. The power did get to many people’s minds but the most shocking thing to have happened was Helen Wood winning this year, despite being the most hated, argumentative and controversial housemate.

Some other housemates who stood out were Mark Byron; the sassiest and funniest one in the group, Ashleigh Coyle; the innocent bee who turned into the Ice queen half way through the season, and the only one to properly stand up to Helen, Chris Wright; the most sarcastic yet smartest and fair housemate and not to forget Winston and Ash who brought eye candy yet a great bromance to the house.

 

I didn’t think Celebrity Big Brother could top this year’s original Big Brother yet it is managing to do a pretty good job. Big Brother has managed to find the most wackiest and outrageous housemates for CBB2014, such as playgirl Frency who is from France yet lives in LA, Kellie Maloney; who happened to be former boxing promoter Frank Maloney before taking on a sex change, strictly come dancing’s James Jordan, Geroge Gillbey from Channel 4’s Google Box, former TOWIE and Geordie Shore stars Lauren Goodger and Ricci Guarnaccio, former The Hills star Stephanie Pratt and White Dee from the documentary Benefits Street.

We are already seeing small romances blossom between Lauren and Ricci and Stephanie and George as well as major arguments between many other housemates, so it definitely oozes great entertainment. Frency was also booted out of the house yesterday much to my happiness as I could not stand her crazy, unpredictable behaviour.

So much more is and has happened with these shows but I guess I just can’t squeeze it all in so that’s my brief recap of my reality TV fix.

All good things must come to an end – TOWIE

As this series of  TOWIE wrapped up we managed to experience some drama, patch ups and the return of an ex.

Lockie and Danielle finally decided to work on their relationship and make things right, as Lockie carried out his grand gesture of re-enacting the pretty woman scene and bringing Danielle a bunch of roses in a pink limo. At the Prince and Princess party he also told her of his plan to whisk her away to Morocco, and she agreed to go as long as they take things slow on getting back to how they were. It was nice to see that their relationship had not ended and that they were willing to make things right.

From a romantic make-up came the awkward ending to Dan and Jasmine’s dating saga. He told Georgia that he didn’t see Jaz as his girlfriend in the long run, and of course in typical Essex fashion Georgia disclosed this information to Jaz at the party. Jaz then confronted Dan and told him that they were no longer friends as he had simply been playing with her feelings instead of being honest. She also could not understand why she is not seen as girlfriend material, which is quite funny.

We saw the tension between Fran and Ferne turn into a cat-fight as they argued over absolutely nothing and accused one another of being standoffish when they first met. As they screamed and swore at one another Diags found it appropriate to tell Ferne to F*** off as he didn’t like anyone screaming at his girlfriend, Ferne then ran off in tears but is later seen busting her moves on the dance floor; clearly unaffected by the row. However the row did make Diags tell Fran that he loved her but I wonder how long this relationship will last.

Bobby and Charlie attempted to make things right between Chloe and Lauren, however this did not work out and things became a lot more awkward between them. Chloe was later seen cosying up to Mario, on the dance floor, at the party  so I guess they’re still together.

Lewis Bloor and Grace shared their first on screen kiss at the TOWIE party as he tells her he is completely single.

However the most shocking pieces of news that brought the series finale to an end was Sam admitting that she was leaving TOWIE to focus on her health, work and relationship with Joey Essex; she will truly be missed. And the return of Arg’s ex Lydia Bright, which made Arg extremely jumpy and brought Gemma to tears seeing the affect Lydia had on him.

As TOWIE comes to an end the gang will be missed but I am now excited to watch the classy gang in Chelsea, with Made In Chelsea starting on Monday 😀

TOWIE Dramaaaaaaa

Having been away on holiday for two weeks I sat down last night to catch up on all my missed TOWIE episodes, and boyyyy was I in for a treat. Soooo much drama went down that I was shocked. Since when did Mario and Chloe start dating? And Lockie finally admits that he cheated on Danielle; I thought he actually be might be innocent but I guess not, on the plus side Ferne and Charlie seem to have patched things up and Fran and Diags have officially become an item.  Grace finally managed to get Lewis Bloor to take her on a date over the last few TOWIE episodes, however during the boxing match Bloor ditched Grace for his ex girlfriend. Tbh I’ve never really taken a liking for Grace so I was quite glad that Bloor pied her, as she did to him previously.  The biggest drama to go down in TOWIE lately has been Mario and Chloe’s blossoming relationship, which they kept hidden from everyone for a month before revealing it recently. At first they were afraid that Charlie would be hurt by this relationship but it turned out that Charlie was cool with it, after giving Mario the ‘Don’t ever hurt my sister’ talk. However the person who was angry and hurt by this news was Lauren Pope, and in my eyes rightfully so, you don’t go anywhere near a man your best friend had anything to do with, I guess Chloe is unable to comprehend this even after Pope explained it to her. According to recent magazine articles it seems that Mario and Chloe are still together and we’ll just have to wait and see what happens in tonight’s final episode of the series.  Another shocking news that will be revealed in tonight’s episode is that Sam Fairs is going to be leaving TOWIE; gutted as I really like Sam so I wish she wasn’t leaving. She has also recently got back together with Joey Essex, and their cute Instagram pictures are evidence of that.  

In tonight’s final episode we will also see Lockie carrying out a grand gesture to get Danielle back, I’m sure she’ll go running back but lets just wait and see what happens. 

Although I am sad that this series of  TOWIE will be coming to an end tonight, the sadness is eased by the return of Made In Chelsea next week. Wooooo bring on more reality drama…. from Essex to Chelsea 🙂

And the truth comes out, sort of – TOWIE

So finally the truth about Lockie’s cheating rumours came out as Bobby awkwardly told Danielle that he had been receiving messages from a woman who allegedly slept with’ Lockie’ James on a night out in Brighton. 

Just as things were beginning to go well for Dani and Lockie, having changed his number on the persuasion of Dani and behaving nicely towards her, Bobby threw the bombshell that Lockie’s cheating rumours could possibly be true. Danielle stormed out of the restaurant, after confronting Lockie about the texts, but not before throwing her drink all over him. When confronted the only thing Lockie could say in his defence was that he wasn’t really with Danielle anyway. Poor come back Lockie. 

On a brighter note Diags finally told Fran that he had feelings for her and it seems she may also feel the same way back, as she told the girls Diags is definitely ‘husband material’. 

We also saw Dan Osborne with his adorable son, on Sunday’s episode, could Dan be any more cuter? And Ferne eventually gave Frank the boot, does this mean Charlie has a chance again? Lets wait and see. 

Frank Major appears!! – TOWIE

Since series eleven began we have been hearing a lot about Ferne’s supposed hook-up and relationship with Frank Major and finally last night we got to see the much talked about Frank Major, or in Charlie’s words “Major mistake” awkssss. 

Major appeared at the end of last nights episode after Ferne admitted to Charlie that she had an affair with Frank. Ferne was extremely delighted to see Frank, and we all finally found out the truth behind the Frank story.

So I guess Charlie and Ferne are officially over, and according to the rumours Ferne and Frank are supposedly a couple, which means we may be seeing a lot more of Frank on the show. I actually wanted Charlie and Ferne to work out oh well. Lets see how this relationship with Mr.Major works out!  

The Only Way is Essex

TOWIE returned on Sunday night with a Bang. Series eleven began with Billie Fairs and Greg Shepherds pregnancy news. We were able to see Billie having a scan in which the doctor was to tell her the sex of the baby. However we would not know of the sex yet as, in typical TOWIE style, there was going to be a huge party in honour of Billie’s pregnancy, and the sex of the baby would then be revealed.

The episode featured two big parties; Billie’s pregnancy party and Mario’s birthday party, which was extremely elaborate and over the top, in a rented party house.  

At Billie’s party she revealed to the gang that she was having a girl by cutting a cake and displaying the pink sponge instead of blue. She also gave them all another shock by announcing that Greg had proposed to her whilst they were on holiday, and of course she said yes! Billie looked extremely cute telling everyone all her exciting news 😀

Gemma and Bobby’s awkwardness continued throughout the entire episode as they bitched about one another to everyone and insisted that they were waiting for the other to apologise first. At the end of the episode Arg got them both together and eventually they managed to sort out their differences and once again became BFF’s, awwwww.

I also cannot ignore the new and improved Mario. Single and looking extremely Suave, Mario definitely stole the show with his pimped out Range Rover, OTT party house, dapper suits and flirtatious behaviour; especially towards the newbie Grace, who happen’s to be playing both Mario and Lewis, Hello player 😉 Gemma referred to Mario as The Wolf of Essex and he seems to be loving the title as he posted this picture on Instagram:

Mario’s birthday bash turned out to be a huge success and everyone had a good time. Well everyone except Charlie and Ferne. They tried to mend their broken relationship at the beginning of the episode but it went completely downhill by the end; Charlie had heard many rumours that Ferne had cheated on him and they had a full blown argument. Charlie threw out the accusation to Ferne and she denied the entire thing, he then called her a hypocrite and mocked the “crocodile tears” that were to come. Charlie also told Ferne that there was no chance they would get back together and Ferne was so disgusted by Charlie’s behaviour that it doesn’t seem like she’ll be wanting that reconciliation any time soon. I have to say though that Charlie is looking very smart in this series, even more so than Mario, and I didn’t think that was possible. 

Sam Fairs also spoke about her Crohns disease on the episode, and shared a cosy moment with her mum and sister Billie. Billie and their mum couldn’t stop crying but Sam simply laughed and tried to put on a brave face.

The first episode has already has so much drama, I cant wait to see what’s to come throughout the series.

TOWIE RETURNS!!

IT’S BAAAAAAACKKKKKK!!!

Oh yes tonight the glamorous, dramatic, feisty gang return for another series of The Only Way is Essex.

With the exit of Lucy Mecklenburgh and Joey Essex will we see a more flirty, free side to Mario and Sam? Billie will also announce her baby news and we may see her engagement news later on the in the series. And Have Gemma and Bobby made up since their row at the end of last season?

All the questions will be answered, plus a whole lot more, with the return of TOWIE tonight. I can already tell its going to be an exciting, crazyyyy season and I cant wait to watch it 😀
